Contract Value
Circa £1.4M
Project Description
We are in the early stages of a total strip-out and refurbishment of an 1800s terraced house on a prestigious street in Central London close to Tottenham Court road, Holborn, Russell Square and Brunswick Gardens. The clients are seeking to future-proof their home by going the extra mile and building to the Passivhaus EnerPHit standard. In addition to their refurb we will be constructing a new art gallery to the rear of the building. This will be a fully glazed construction with a green roof and a basement floor below.
Bow Tie Construction were selected for the project due to our experience delivering Passivhaus design on a Bloomsbury home of the same form that received coverage in the Evening Standard. Our track record of delivering complex and challenging deep retrofits while being sensitive to budget requirements made us the most suitable contractor for the job. The renders and drawings shown are courtesy of BÜF Architects. Concept MVHR design was produced in-house by Bow Tie Construction.
